Cancellation Policy

Thank you for choosing The Story Lens by KD. Our goal is to create a comfortable, enjoyable experience while capturing your story with intention and creativity. Booking & Retainer • A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to secure your session date. An invoice will be sent within 24-48 hours of booking. Your date is NOT reserved until payment is received. Session Preparation • Clients are encouraged to book 2-4 weeks in advance. Please arrive camera-ready, with outfits selected, and any inspiration or ideas prepared prior to your session. Turnaround Time • Photography Sessions: 3-5 business days • Portrait & Branding Sessions: 10-14 business days • Content Creation Sessions: 7-10 business days • Event Coverage: 3-5 business days Rush editing may be available for an additional fee. Additional Images • Additional edited images may be purchased for: - $20 per image - 5 images for $75 - RAW images are not included with standard sessions. Weather Policy • Outdoor sessions are weather permitting. If weather conditions are unsafe or unsuitable, your session will be rescheduled at no additional cost. Late Arrivals • A 15-minute grace period is allowed. Arrivals beyond 15 minutes may incur a $25 late fee and may result in reduced session time. Guests • A maximum of three guests may accompany you unless otherwise discussed. Children may attend only if they are participating in the session. Travel • Travel outside the Toledo area may require an additional fee and will be discussed before booking. Rescheduling & Cancellations • Sessions may be rescheduled once with at least 48 hours notice. Retainers are non-refundable. Same-day cancellations may result in forfeiture of the retainer. No-call/no-show appointments are not eligible for future bookings. Payment • Remaining balances are due on or before the session date. Late balances may be subject to additional fees. Image Rights • The Story Lens by KD retains copyright ownership of all images. By booking, you grant permission for images to be used for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
