How to Set Up Payments on a Wix Studio Website

If you’re ready to start selling products, collecting service payments, or accepting donations online, setting up payments on your Wix Studio website is a must. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to set up payments on a Wix Studio website step by step, so you can start receiving payments confidently and securely.


Because payment setup requires sensitive business and banking information, all steps must be completed directly inside your own Wix Studio account.

Step 1: Log Into Your Wix Studio Account


To begin the payment setup process:

  1. Visit www.wix.com

  2. Click Log In in the top-right corner

  3. Enter the email address and password associated with your Wix Studio account


You must be logged in as the site owner or have full admin permissions to continue.


Step 2: Access Your Site Settings


Once logged in:

  1. From the Wix Studio dashboard, select the website you want to update

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Settings


This is where you’ll manage all site-level features, including payments.

During the setup process, you’ll be asked to provide:

  • EIN (Employer Identification Number)

  • Business address (must match your official registration)

  • Bank routing number

  • Bank account number (where payouts will be deposited)

  • A photo of your government-issued ID (in some cases)


Make sure all information is accurate and up to date. Incorrect details can delay approval and payouts. Wix may take a few business days to review and verify your account.
